Search and social previews

The version of your page people actually see

Meta tags are the version of your page that appears in search results and social previews — not the page itself. Left to a CMS they are usually a truncated first paragraph and a missing image.

Fill in the fields and get valid, correctly formatted tags you can paste straight into the head.

The five tags that matter

Each does one job, and all five fit in a block you can paste in one go.

  • Title — around 60 characters, keyword near the front.
  • Description — around 160 characters, important part first because the tail gets cut.
  • Open Graph controls how the page looks when shared, Twitter Card does the same job for X (summary_large_image is almost always right), and canonical tells search engines which version is the original.

The one people forget

og:image. A page shared without one gets a blank grey box, and that measurably reduces clicks — because at that moment the preview is doing the persuading, not the link.

  • 1200 × 630 pixels is the safe size across platforms.
  • It is the single highest-leverage tag on the list, and the one a CMS almost never fills in.
  • Check it before a launch post, not after.

Length is the part that silently fails

Going over does not break anything — it just means someone else decides where your sentence ends, usually mid-word and usually before the point.

  • Keep the title around 60 and the description around 160.
  • Front-load both. The first half is what survives truncation on mobile.
  • Preview it rather than trusting the count — rendering differs by device.

What leaves the page

The tags are built in your browser as you type. One thing travels, and only if you ask for it.

  • Generating: local. Fill the fields, copy the block, done.
  • The optional email form posts the generated tag block along with the title and description lengths.
  • Your page content is never involved — the tool only ever sees what you type into the fields.

The short version

Four numbers worth keeping

60
Characters for a title before it gets truncated.
160
For a description. Mobile cuts nearer 120.
1200
x 630 pixels, the safe og:image size everywhere.

Why Parix.ai gives this away

Hand-writing head tags is the kind of fiddly job that gets skipped, and the result is a site that looks broken every time somebody shares it. These tools are how people find us, which is why there is no paywall.

Generate my tags

Who uses it

Developers hand-writing head tags, and SEO teams fixing pages a CMS filled in badly — usually with a truncated first paragraph and no image at all.

Check the result

Preview how it will actually display with the SERP Snippet Preview, write the description with the Meta Description Generator, and check lengths with the Word Counter.

Built into the template

Tags are better generated by the site than typed per page. Our web development team wires them into the template so nobody has to remember.
