How the splash screen generator works
- Type your app name or initial. The first letter becomes the logo mark; the full name sits under it.
- Add a tagline if you want one. Keep it short so it reads at a glance.
- Pick your colors. Set the background and the text colour, or start from a preset.
- Download the PNG. A full-size 1242×2688px image, ready for your project.
Splash screen sizes and safe areas
The generator exports a 1242×2688px portrait PNG, the full-screen resolution of larger iPhones. It works as a crisp master image: scale it down for smaller phones, or use it for store screenshots and mockups.
Keep your logo and name near the centre. Phones crop the edges differently, and notches and rounded corners cover the top and bottom, so the middle of the screen is the only area every device shows.
On Android 12 and newer, the system draws its own splash from your app icon and a background color, so match that color to the background you pick here for a smooth hand-off into your app.

A splash screen is the first thing people see when they open your app. It fills the moment between tapping the icon and your app being ready, so the screen never looks blank or broken.
A good one feels like part of the app: your logo, your colors, and then a smooth hand-off into the first real screen.
Check your colors are easy to read
Your app name has to stand out from the background, even on a dim phone screen in sunlight. This check uses the same contrast ratio designers use for accessibility: 4.5 or higher reads comfortably, 3 or higher is fine for large text.
