Enlarge a small image without the blur getting worse
A logo saved at 300px years ago, a product shot a supplier sent at low resolution, an old family photo you want to print larger. Stretching it in a basic editor just makes the pixels bigger and the result softer.

What this tool actually does
Worth being precise about, because the marketing language around “AI upscaling” is often misleading. This uses high-quality interpolation — Lanczos-3, a well-established algorithm — plus a light unsharp-mask pass. It is not AI super-resolution.
- Interpolation makes intelligent decisions about how to fill in new pixels based on the surrounding ones, which is why it looks noticeably better than a basic stretch.
- What it cannot do is invent detail that was never captured.
- That distinction decides what you should expect before you upload anything.
What to actually expect
Knowing this before you upload saves a wasted attempt. This fixes the “too small” problem, not the “too blurry to begin with” problem.
- A crisp but small image enlarges very well — clean, usable, with the sharpening pass keeping edges defined.
- A genuinely blurry or heavily pixelated source enlarges into a bigger, still-blurry image.
- If the small version is unreadable, the large version will be too. That is a property of the source, not of the tool.

What stays local, and what does not
The upscaling itself happens entirely on your device — the image is never uploaded in order to be enlarged. There is one exception, and it is worth being exact about it.
- Upscaling: local. Choose a scale, download the result, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- The optional email form: not local. If you ask us to email you the result, the upscaled image is sent to our server so it can be attached.
- If that matters for the image you are working on, download it directly and skip the email step.
